- USB to Ethernet cable convertor
When buying an Ethernet splitter, make sure it has a cable that will allow you to connect it to the Ethernet port. The cable has an RJ45 port at one end.
To make the connection work, you need first to use the one end of the Ethernet splitter and connect it to your Ethernet port.
Use a USB to Ethernet cable converter now. Use one end of the converter i.e., the Ethernet port side, to connect it to the Ethernet splitter.
